HISTORY

ORIGIN

Hailing from a coven of Harvest Witches and Warlocks behind the Great Wall of Gilneas, Willow was sworn to be a protector of nature from a very young age, gifted with feeling nature's emotions and hearing its weeping. During the fall of Gilneas, she was unfortunately torn from her clan and in turn afflicted, barely surviving the transformation and just about keeping her fractured sanity when regaining consciousness.Fleeing to Teldrassil like many of her surviving Gilnean-folk, a new lease of life soon found her, and she was taken on as an Apprentice Druidess by one of the many teachers within Darnassus. However, it wasn't long before the great tree was set ablaze, and once again Willow had to forsake her second home. Forced to become a transient wanderer, she began to collect all sorts of knick-knacks, knitting 'masterful' creations, and spreading an unfathomable amount of kindness from one who is so scarred. Despite the turmoil she has faced, Willow's spirit remains resilient, her heart forever attuned to the whispers of nature and the promise of new beginnings.

CULTURE

The origins of the Wyldehart Coven can be traced back to the earliest days of Gilneas, when the kingdom was but a fledgling settlement on the rugged shores of the Great Sea. As Gilneas began to prosper, attracting settlers from across the Eastern Kingdoms, a group of druids and witches came together to form a community dedicated to the worship of Nature and the Dream. Nestled in the shadow of the towering mountains that bordered Gilneas to the east, they established their sanctuary amidst the ancient forests of the Blackwald. The Coven's culture was one of communal harmony and mutual respect. Each member played a vital role in the life of the coven, contributing their skills and knowledge to the collective welfare. From the healers who tended to the sick and injured with both traditional herbs and druidic magic, to the hunters who provided sustenance for their brethren, every task was performed with a sense of purpose.

Seeds of Change

Willow's journey through the wilds has been a solitary yet profound odyssey, guided by prophetic-like dreams that seem to pull her towards an uncertain destiny. Each night, vivid visions of ancient forests, mystical creatures, and enigmatic symbols fill her dreams, urging her to wander deeper into the untamed wilderness. Her bond with nature grows stronger with each step, her every action intertwined with the rhythm of the earth. The whispers of the wind, the songs of the birds, and the rustling of leaves are her constant companions, providing both guidance and solace.Despite her deep connection to the wild, Willow's heart yearned for human connection, a desire that is unexpectedly fulfilled when she stumbles upon a group of peculiar individuals who, like her, are driven by unique callings and mysterious pasts. This newfound family, diverse in their abilities, personalities, and backgrounds, welcomes her—some with open arms, others with misguided temptations—offering the companionship and support she had longed for.
